Expedition Everest in the Asia area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park is a high-altitude, high-speed, roller coaster train ride for big kids, teens and adults to the “Roof of the World,” home of the inhospitable snarling beast, the Yeti, at the mountain’s peak.
Climb aboard a railway car for a full-steam-ahead adventure bound for Mount Everest. Your trek across the treacherous terrain of the towering Forbidden Mountain begins with a few scenic twists and turns, then sets out on an ascent towards the summit.
From this panoramic point with amazing views across Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, you plunge into darkness. Returning to the light, you see that the tracks have been twisted into a dead end. As the wind howls, you realize there’s no place to go on this expedition-or is there?

Disney’s BoardWalk contains more than 9,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is “a village on the water” near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks.
With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney’s BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such New England coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Stroll along Disney’s BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is a kid-focused comedy show hosted on a digital stage by monster Mike Wazowski at Magic Kingdom theme park.
The Laugh Floor at Monsters, Inc. has been transformed into a comedy club for visiting humans. Inspired by the Disney·Pixar movie Monsters, Inc., in this show the audience must help “Monster of Ceremonies” Mike Wazowski and his wild and crazy pals power the city of Monstropolis-with laughter! Skeptical manager Roz, however, isn’t so sure Mike can pull it off.
